Acceptance of Terms
By accessing erc.istdkolkata.org or purchasing a ticket/sponsorship for the 7th ERC 2025, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please refrain from using the site.
Eligibility
Participation is open to individuals aged 18 years or older. Corporate delegates must have authority to bind their organisation.
Ticket Categories & Pricing
- Early-Bird, Regular, Student, Group, Sponsor Passes as listed on the Registration page.
- Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and include 18 % GST unless stated otherwise.
- ISTD Kolkata reserves the right to modify ticket categories, quotas, or prices without prior notice. Existing confirmed bookings remain unaffected.
Booking Process
- Complete the online registration form.
- Pay securely via our authorised gateway (UPI, credit/debit card, net-banking).
- Receive an automated confirmation email with your e-ticket and unique QR code.
- Present the QR code (print or mobile) and government-issued photo ID at the venue.
Use of Website
You agree not to:
- Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access;
- Harvest data or send unsolicited communications;
- Infringe intellectual-property rights;
- Impersonate another person or entity.
Intellectual Property
All site content—logos, text, graphics, photos, videos, slide decks—belongs to ISTD Kolkata or its content partners. Reproduction, republication, or commercial use without prior written consent is prohibited.
Programme Changes
While every effort is made to maintain the published schedule, ISTD Kolkata may substitute speakers, adjust session timings, or switch to a hybrid/virtual format for reasons beyond our control. Ticket holders will be notified promptly.
Privacy & Data
Our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference, explains how your personal data is processed.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ISTD Kolkata shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses (including lost profits, data, or goodwill) arising from:
- reliance on conference content;
- technical issues or force-majeure events;
- unauthorised third-party activities.
Total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for your ticket.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ISTD Kolkata, its officers, volunteers, and affiliates from any claim or demand (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the site.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
Dispute Resolution (Optional Arbitration Clause)
Before initiating litigation, parties agree to attempt amicable resolution. Failing that, disputes may be referred to a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996; venue Kolkata; language English.
Severability
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall remain in effect.
Updates to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitute acceptance.
